Making My Mark

Good day fellow readers and viewers I know it’s been a while I wrote anything meaningful and my last post was about how I was gonna quit photography. Truth is I was in a bad place and a bad frame of mind as well, but I am back on my feet and ready to take the world by storm. So here’s what you guys have been missing. November 26th was one of the most amazing days since being back in Trinidad, I got the opportunity to work alongside Lindsay Ebbin, celebrity MUA (Makeup Artist) and Former Creative Director for Retail Cosmetics for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas across U.S.A. along with some beautiful models, talented designer Nicole Caesar and hairstylist Simone.  MUA opened his Home for us to shoot and it was truly truly amazing, everything was on point from wardrobe to makeup to hairstyle. The atmosphere was work friendly and indeed I am happy that I got to be part of such a big photo shoot.

The experience was totally amazing we all worked as a team and images were great. Finally i feel like I am moving forward in this field and beginning to be recognized and my work is being appreciated. Not too long ago my work appeared in a local newspaper in Trinidad. Some of you might say that’s not much but to me it was a big deal, it was a start to something beautiful and bigger better things to come my way.

Over the course of the year I have improved drastically, and even being applauded and congratulated by fellow photographers. As much as it feels like I have accomplished a lot, there is always room for improvement, to grow and mature to learn to conquer.

So I leave you guys with this I am going to continue striving for the best, for me the sky isn’t the limit I am going to push till there is no more space left or no more strength to go on.  I have found my niche and it is PHOTOGRAPHY 😀
